Breathing exercises, gentle stretching and relaxation to help keep the body, mind and spirit healthy and strong. Gentle exercise, such as yoga, makes us feel good , improving our sense of wellbeing and making us feel more connected to ourselves and to others.
Deep and passive floor based poses that target the body’s deep connective tissue including, ligaments, tendons, bones and joints. Yin yoga is designed to increase circulation in the joints, improve flexibility and aid healing while stimulating the meridians to loosen energetic blockages and increase energy flow. Poses are held for up to 5 minutes. Yin yoga is the perfect balance to our very active lifestyle (yang) and serves to help re-balance the body’s energy and calm the mind.
Kids' yoga can help improve mental health and physical wellbeing. Our kids' yoga classes involve a combination of fun activities, such as stories, songs, games, movement and breathing exercises.
Athletes practice yoga as a way to improve performance and help them stay active in sports and competitive activities longer.
